Progress report 4-12-2010

Overall progress for the first episode is around 5%...
The fact that I have to actually learn how to use Adobe Flash as I go along isn't doing any miracles for the rate at which I produce the episodes, haha... But hopefully I'll get faster.

I've written the scripts for all four episodes of the series and recorded all of the voices for the first episode.
I'm finding the hardest thing with animation is lip-syncing, which is an arduous task. The first episode will probably be terribly animated, and the quality of animation will improve towards the end of the series, haha.

Will be doing more animation tomorrow (Love weekends!!).
Unfortunately, it will probably be a long long time before the first episode comes out, due to how terrible I am at Adobe Flash :(

A legend in the making.

The Fable of Martin Minoritie is a work-in-progress flash animation series, entailing the gripping story of a horrific aeroplane crash on a seemingly deserted island. (Key word: seemingly...). As the devastated survivors of the crash attempt to stay alive, a strangely overconfident individual elects himself leader of the ragtag group, his name: Martin Minoritie. Martin, who is a clinically diagnosed psychopath, makes lots of enemies very quickly, and the tribe splits in two. Aided by a host of hilarious main characters, Martin and the other survivors discover that surviving isn't as easy as it may seem. Hilarity and violence ensue as power struggles arise and lives are taken. The series will come to a gripping cliff-hanger end, as the survivors discover a terrible secret about the island. The series will span four episodes, each episode being roughly 10 minutes in length.

This blog will be updated weekly (but possibly daily if I am making lots of progress).
I am making this animation series in Adobe Flash CS4.
All voices will be done by myself.

Thanks for reading! Look forward to the first episode of Martin Minoritie: CRASH.
